In our Gospel Reading, Mary wastes expensive perfume – which cost a whole year’s worth of wages – anointing Jesus’ feet. Why does she do it? Why would any of us offer such an extravagant waste to Jesus? Or, are we more practical, like Judas?
Father, this Christmas season, send Your Spirit to help us – individually and as a Christian family – to speak to our friends and family who are not yet in Christ, who have not yet experienced the glory of His love.
