Gracious heavenly Father, through our abiding in Jesus’ love, may Your Holy Spirit make us more loving of others. And, Father, remove from our lives our self-salvation projects, so that we trust Jesus as our only Savior. We ask in the precious name of Christ Jesus, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now, and forever. Amen!
Almighty God, our heavenly Father, Your mercies are new every morning; and though we deserve only punishment, You receive us as Your children and provide for all our needs of body and soul. Grant that we may heartily acknowledge Your merciful goodness, give thanks for all Your benefits, and serve You in willing obedience; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen!
You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, O Lord, but so often we forget that and we stand in the way of your Truth. Help us to claim you as our King, not hiding your presence from others or washing our hands of our association with you. Give us the grace to announce to the world that you are truly the sinless Son of God who took on our sins that we might be saved. We who once were guilty are now made innocent by your blood. Let your righteousness reign in our hearts and lives forever. Amen!
