Who’s in charge? By the authority of His death and resurrection, Jesus has become first in all things, of whom all of Scripture speaks. The Gospel wipes our sins away–without a trace–and as we have freely been given, by His authority we also freely give.
Our joy is grounded in the fellowship of all believers, as we share in the breaking of bread and the gifts which God offers to us for our benefit. All the while, God has revealed Himself in His Son, in whom we have joy and stand in awe.
Our redeemer – the one who makes things right and good – lives. This we know, and so with Job we cry, “He lives!”
Jesus lives, bringing to us true Easter Joy – even life from the dead. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed, hallelujah!
